Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is elected by the congregation at its annual meeting and each member serves for two years. The Committee is responsible for searching, interviewing and recruiting excellent candidates for certain positions within the Church leadership.
The current committee members are:
UUCF members and friends may recommend themselves or someone else by contacting any Nominating Committee Member. Feel free to contact any Nominating Committee member for additional information.
The Nominating Committee begins its search in November and follows a written process that includes communication with all members and friends via the newsletter, the web site and open forums. Nominees are finalized in April and posted for all members at least 35 days before the annual meeting to be held on June 1, 2008.

Our UUCF bylaws have a provision for additional candidates via petition. The Nominating Committee will accept written petitions for additional candidate names until Sunday, May 13, which is 21 days before the Annual Meeting. Petitions must by signed by fifteen or more active members of UUCF. Petitions should be delivered to a member of the Nominating Committee.
