Senior High: Grades 9-12 on Sundays at 9:15 and Grades 7 - 12 on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m
UUCF's Senior High program, also known as UUth (Unitarian Universalist Youth), is an integrated program for all UUCF 9th-12th graders. It is composed of exploration/worship, social justice, leadership development, fundraising, and social activities/trips. The program is coordinated by the Youth Ministry Coordinator, which is composed of youth and adults.
UUth Religious Exploration topics look at life's big questions and cover issues like teen relationships, current events, controversial issues and values such as abortion or gun control, social justice, diversity and inclusion, developing your own theology, etc....
This year, the three class times will have different structures. At 4:30 on Saturdays, the class will act as both a covenenent group and, on alternate Saturdays, use the "Popcorn Theology" curriculum which uses films as discussion starters. At 9:15 there will be using 2 different curriculum. At 11:15, there is a Coming of Age class for pre-registered students. All three services will prepare for the Senior High Service (the first weekend of March).
