NewComer Orientation Class

The Membership Committee offers 4 hours of orientation several times a year for newcomers as an overview of Unitarian Universalism and the programs and volunteer opportunities at the UU Congregation of Fairfax.

Our next class will be held as two 2-hour sessions, Wednesdays Feb 8 & 15.   This class is designed for those exploring what Unitarian Universalism and the UU Congregation of Fairfax are all about. It is an overview of the history and basic tenets of Unitarian Universalism and the programs and volunteer opportunities at UUCF. You will meet with ministers and other leaders of the church, and get to know others who are also exploring the possibility of making UUCF their spiritual home.  We strongly recommend this class for all those new to UUCF.  To RSVP or for questions contact cjensen [at] uucf [dot] org (Carol Jensen), Member Services Coordinator, 703-281-4230 x223.   The next class after this will be Saturday, April 28.

Membership Class

Our next class will be Tuesday, February 21 at 7:00pm.  If you have been coming to UUCF for a while, and feel that it is time to make the commitment of membership, or if you are coming to us from another Unitarian Universalist congregation and are familiar with the UU faith but new to our UUCF community and wish to sign the membership book, you will need  to attend a Membership Class. These classes are offered frequently during the year. Please check back here for other dates, or  contact cjensen [at] uucf [dot] org (Carol Jensen), Member Services Coordinator, 703-281-4230, x223, if you have any questions or want to register for a class.
