Low Commitment Choir and Orchestra (6th Graders-Adult)
These ensembles invite new members at all times. Several rehearsals will precede a specified performance. Watch for the call for volunteer musicians.
UU Drum Circle: Drumming for the Spirit, Drumming for Peace
January 15th – March 4th
Sundays, 3-4pm* in the Sanctuary (*except Jan 22nd: 2-3pm)
Suggestion donation: $1-10/session
Our drum circle is led by guest percussionist, Kofi Dennis. Kofi hails from Ghana and has performed all over the DC area, including the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian, Wolf Trap, and others. His engaging rhythms and story-telling will be inspiring all. We encourage you to bring your own drum if you have one, but if not, we will have many extra drums on hand.
