Board of Directors

The Board of Directors serves the UUCF membership by making the policy decisions that impact the congregation and the projects that it supports. The Board is elected by the membership of the congregation at the Annual Meeting.

The Board serves the congregation by:

  • Listening to and responding to the needs of the congregation;
  • Maintaining effective, responsive, and accountable governance structures that facilitate the congregations’ articulation and achievement of its mission and vision; and
  • Embodying and nurturing a loving, collaborative, challenging, and supportive culture of leadership and shared ministry.

UUCF members and friends can raise concerns or bring ideas to the Board of Directors by doing any of the following, providing as much factual information as possible:

  • Discuss concerns individually with any member of the Board;
  • Send a letter via U.S. mail to the Board president or secretary;
  • Send an e-mail to board [at] uucf [dot] org. These messages go to the Board president.

Once the Board has addressed a concern or idea, a response will be provided to the individual raising the concern.

Board meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m., and are open to all members and friends.
