Hypothermia Sheltering Project: UUCF participates in this interfaith winter project, providing shelter for the homeless in Fairfax County. Contact Ann Marie Cunningham.

Advocacy: Working through Communities of Faith United for Housing, UUCF works to increase the supply of affordable housing in Fairfax County, with a focus on providing permanent housing opportunities for those who are homeless. Contact terrygoplerudatyahoo [dot] com (Terry Goplerud).

Rebuilding Together: Formerly known as “Christmas in April,” Rebuilding Together is one of several volunteer home repair projects under the auspices of the RPJ Housing Development Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and developing decent and affordable housing for limited-income individuals and families. For one day in April more than 50 volunteers from UUCF come together to make a home more livable for a Fairfax County resident in need.
