10 Steps on Your Path to Membership
1. Visit the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax (UUCF).
- Look over the buildings and grounds.
- Pick up information on UUCF and Unitarian Universalism at the Welcome Table.
- Fill out a visitor card.
- Visit the Web site (www.uucf.org)
2. Have lunch on us at the Monthly Visitors Lunch.
- One Sunday every six weeks after the second service in the Social Hall.
3. Continue to attend services.
- Meet as many current members as possible.
- Attend events you see publicized.
4. Take the next Newcomers Orientation Class. If you feel that UUCF is the right spiritual home for you...
5. Pick up a "New Member Information" from the Welcome Table or the office, fill it out, and return it to the office.
6. Take a Membership Class or meet with one of the Ministers.
- Agree to commit your time, talent, and treasures.
7. Sign the Membership Book.
8. Make and honor a pledge.
- This is to be done at the time you decide to join and then again yearly at canvass time.
9. Attend the New Member Recognition Sunday Service and reception.
10. Jump in and get involved.
